Charlie Sheen's Fiat 500 Ad
Charlie Sheen's Fiat 500 Ad, Charlie Sheen mocks house arrest in ad, Charlie Sheen’s Fiat 500 ad: rolling with supermodels and winning, The actor drives a high-performance Fiat 500 in a mansion and jokes about "good behavior. After his character was unceremoniously killed off of Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen appears to have found a new gig: playing himself in car ads.
The follow-up to Fiat's sexy "Seduction" Super Bowl spot features the actor/warlock expertly (recklessly?) driving a Fiat 500 Abarth at full speed through a mansion full of beautiful people/goddesses. Fitting, as Sheen once claimed to have "only one speed, one gear." Halfway through the new 60-second spot, titled "House Arrest," the car screeches to a halt and Sheen's leg, equipped with an electronic ankle bracelet, is seen stepping out. "I love being under house arrest. What do I get for good behavior?" he says as he cozies up to Romanian supermodel Catrinel Menghia, the star of the previous ad.
On a side note, "Seduction" was never meant to be an ad at all; Fiat filmed it for the 500 Abarth's introduction at the 2011 LA Auto Show. Only after the reaction online -- the video has several million views -- did Fiat execs talk their legal team into approving it for broadcast. The Abarth, a higher-performance version of Fiat's subcompact, features a 160-hp four-cylinder engine, a 5-speed manual transmission, and a base price of $22,000. It makes its way to dealerships in April.
