Christopher walken hires lawyer natalie wood, The unsolved mystery surrounding the 1981 death of Natalie Wood is coming back to haunt Christopher Walken. The Hollywood Reporter says the actor has hired a lawyer following the reopening of an investigation into what happened the night Wood went missing from a boat off the coast of Catalina Island; she'd been partying aboard the "Splendour" with Walken, her co-star in the movie "Brainstorm," and Robert Wagner, her husband. The "West Side Story" star's lifeless body was later found floating a mile away in the ocean.According to the Hollywood Reporter, Walken's attorney, Mathew Rosengart, will advise him on the case; meanwhile, Walken is expected to cooperate fully with authorities. Wagner is reportedly not a suspect, although Wood's sister and the boat captain hold the 81-year-old actor responsible. The death was initially ruled an accidental drowning.
